This past weekend I had the opportunity to go to my local farmer's market. I didn't get to see much because one I got there a little late, so half of the vendors and events were gone. At that moment I though of my bed that I left very early. I was a little upset for my own tardiness but I decided to just checkout the left over vendors to see if I could find anything interesting.
Oh, boy! I'm so glad I stayed. Thanks to Village Baking Company I got to try this delicious treat: a "Kouign Amann." In my opinion it was out of this world. I have never had a Kouign Amann bread before but this was love at first bite. I would drive 30 minutes every weekend to get my hands on this bread.
I'm not a baker but I Googled and found a great recipe for this mouth watering bread with step by step instruction. I believe if I follow those steps I can have this bread everyday. If anyone tries this recipe please share your pictures, I would love to see them.
Other Highlight:
I thought those dried flowers were pretty cool, because even though the flowers were dried they kept their natural color.
