Not My Mother’s Lipstick:
This lipstick (magenta violet) is a throwback to my very first lipstick when I was a little girl.
My mother had this purple lipstick that I loved; I believe it was Revlon (similar color) but I can’t be sure. It was the first lipstick that I ever put on that I could remember. I used to sneak into my mother’s room and put it on and act like a grownup. Only to be caught one day by my mother doing so. After that my mother would let me apply once in awhile for parties.
I have been thinking about those happy times lately. I was able to find a lipstick that is more modern and close to the color I remember loving. Who knew I would love purple lipstick to this day. What was your first lipstick memory?
