Afternoon Snack
My diet is made up of meat and cakes. Eating Vegetables or taking my vitamins is always a challenge for me, the only way to get my vitamins and vegetables into my daily meals is through juicing. I add my favorite fruit and vegetables through my juicer and I get myself at least my 2 servings of fruits and vegetables. I try to do this everyday; it only take me 10 minutes tops to juice.
I get A cup of Kale which is a good source of Antioxidants, Calcium, Fiber, Iron and (Vitamins A, C & K).
2 Carrots will provides "210% of the average daily recommended amount of vitamin A, 10% vitamin K, 6% vitamin C, 2% calcium." for more information (read).
Half a cucumber with skin is a good source of Vitamin B, and C. for more information ( click here).
1 Apple + 1 Orange ( for all the information on vitamins on apple and oranges click here).
I love everything about ginger from the way it smells to the way it tastes. On top of everything else ginger has great health benefits. I don't like the taste of carrot juice but ginger helps in covering the smell and it makes the juice taste better. read up on the risk and benefits of ginger .
Put everything through the juicer or blend and you got yourself a nice afternoon snack that is good for your body and soul. Remember to use your favorite fruits and vegetables .
Happy Juicing!!!
