Just a little background story: in the past two and half years I have been going through a lot of stress in my life which caused a lot of bad breakouts.  I have been trying the natural skin care route for about a year now and it has been working very well for me. Even though my skin has cleared up,  the surface of my skin is not as smooth or as soft as before.

About two weeks ago I walked into Sephora looking for a Primer or BB cream to cover up the problem area but one of the assistants in Sephora recommended getting the “Clarisonic  cleaning system”  to help improve the look of my skin. To be honest I have been eyeing the clarisonic for a couple of years now but can’t get myself to spend that much money on a product.  The sale assistant suggested the “Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal.“  It would work as well as the clarisonic for about 90 percent less of the cost .

I was very reluctant to spend  $ 18  on a face sponge but very glad I did. The sponge has left my skin feeling soft and  it's also cleaning and clearing the surface problem I have been having with my skin.

I always wait at least 90 days before I write a review on a product because that gives me enough time to try the product  to see if it works... but this product has worked so well it surprised me so I couldn't wait to share my thoughts about it.

When you first get the product out the box the texture is like  rice crispy treats. Once you soak and rinse  under water it softens up to a jelly fish texture. i was weirdedout first, but it felt great on my skin.

Pros: Gentle and soft on the skin, removes make up without a problem even under eye make, doesn't dry skin like a facial buff, glowing skin, and skin surface looks softer.  Cons:  Price, scared of Bacteria growing on the sponge, and it has to replaced every  2 -3 months.
